This new material by TAOC retains its excellent damping performance while achieving a hardness that exceeds all other materials. This is a hybrid insulator made of molded maple, a new material that gives richness to the sound, and high-carbon cast-iron, which enhances the freshness of the sound.

Our special process for blending, into a single piece, hard maple (specific gravity: 0.70g/cm3) which is a heavy and hard material that improves the high and mid ranges, with Japanese ash ( specific gravity: 0.68g/cm') which is a resilient material that improves the low and mid ranges. The resulting material enhances audio quality over all ranges, something that is not possible using only one type of material. The blended material is then compressed under high pressure to increase its specific gravity to 1.40 (g/cm3) to give a sense of density to the sound.
